Always attentive to environmental sustainability and the traceability of raw materials, the Nuova ICOS Tannery has obtained LWG certification.

The LWG (Leather Working Group) environmental audit protocol is the tool that scrupulously assesses the environmental performance of leather producers all over the world, taking into account factors relating to the environment, the conduct of tannery operations, use energy and water, waste management and restricted substances.

The LWG certification therefore confirms the commitment of the Nuova ICOS Tannery towards increasingly ecological production and systemic management of Quality, the Environment, Safety and Ethics. Achieving this certification with excellent results is a source of pride for us and, at the same time, an opportunity to improve our modus operandi and become increasingly green.

Furthermore, joining the Leather Working Group offers us the opportunity to network with other tanneries, discuss common objectives and make the players in the leather supply chain increasingly competitive and collaborative.
